Short film
A Labour of Loaf is an animated short film I directed whilst at The Arts University Bournemouth. Alongside directing, I worked as a storyboard artist, character designer and 2D animator. The film was animated traditionally on paper, frame by frame, before being coloured digitally
Synopsis: A stubborn artisan baker is trapped in the routine of producing the same square loaves every day in a bid to keep his struggling business afloat. With the help of a curious customer, the baker discovers that inspiration comes in many different shapes and sizes.
